1. Definitions

"Company" means NeedATaxi.nl, registered in the Netherlands (KvK 12345678).
"Client" means any person or entity that places a booking.
"Booking" means a confirmed reservation for a taxi transfer.
"Fixed Price" means the all-inclusive fare quoted at the time of booking.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is confirmed once the Client receives a written confirmation (WhatsApp, SMS or email) from the Company. The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion without stating reasons. All prices are fixed and include fuel, tolls, road taxes and VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Payment

A deposit of 25% of the total fare is charged at booking to secure the reservation. The remaining 75% is due on arrival in cash (EUR) or by card. The Company accepts iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard and cash. Payment in full may be required for bookings made within 2 hours of pickup. In case of payment failure, the Company is entitled to cancel the booking without refund of any amount already paid.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 2 hours of scheduled pickup are non-refundable. No-shows (Client not present at pickup location within 15 minutes of agreed time) are treated as cancellations within 2 hours and are non-refundable. The Company may cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, severe weather, force majeure) and in such cases will issue a full refund. No additional compensation is due in such cases.

5. Waiting time and delays

For airport pickups, free waiting time is 60 minutes after the scheduled flight landing time. For all other pickups, free waiting time is 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time. Additional waiting time is charged at €0.50 per minute after the free period. The Company monitors flight arrivals and adjusts pickup times accordingly at no extra charge.

6. Luggage and passengers

The number of passengers and luggage items specified at booking must be accurate. The driver has the right to refuse transport if the actual number of passengers or luggage exceeds the vehicle capacity or the amount stated at booking, without refund of the deposit. For oversized items (bicycles, wheelchairs, sports equipment) the Client must notify the Company at booking. Failure to do so may result in refusal without refund.

7. Conduct and damage

The Client is responsible for the conduct of all passengers in the vehicle. The Company reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if any passenger behaves in a manner that is dangerous, abusive or threatening to the driver or vehicle. Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger will be invoiced to the Client at the cost of repair. Smoking, alcohol consumption and eating are not permitted in the vehicle without prior written consent.

8. Liability

The Company's liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the total fare paid for that specific booking. The Company is not liable for missed flights, trains, cruises or other onward connections regardless of cause. The Company is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle, though reasonable efforts will be made to return found items. These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law.

9. Child seats

Child seats are provided on request and at no extra charge, subject to availability. The Client is responsible for correctly installing and securing the child in the seat. The Company does not accept liability for injury resulting from incorrect use of child seats by the Client or passengers.

10. Force majeure

The Company is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, road closures, civil unrest, government restrictions or vehicle breakdown. In such cases the Company will offer an alternative vehicle or a full refund, at its discretion.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall first be submitted to the Company via [email protected]. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on the website. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
