Most cruise ships in Amsterdam moor at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) on the IJ waterfront at Piet Heinkade. From Schiphol the drive is about 25 km and takes around 20 min; from hotels in the city centre it is usually a short ride.
Some larger ships use the cruise terminal in IJmuiden on the coast instead. Always check your cruise documents and enter the exact terminal address as your destination — the price is calculated for that address.
